Lionel Messi has had his say on both Argentina teammate Sergio Aguero and Barcelona companion Luis Suarez, labelling both strikers as “decisive”.
Messi – regarded as possibly the finest player of all time – has had the pleasure of working alongside the best in the game, both at international and club level.
With the national team, the Argentina captain is good friends with teammate and fellow forward Aguero, with the Manchester City striker regarded as the most deadly strikers in the Premier League. However, Messi also plays with some of the greatest at Barcelona, forming one-third of perhaps the most lethal trio in world football alongside Neymar and Suarez.
The latter has been in devastating form since swapping England for Spain in 2014, and Messi was asked what the differences are between the former and his compatriot Aguero.
“Kun is a very simple and easy-going person, a great lad and, as a striker, one of the best. As is Luis,” Messi told .
“They are different but, if you want to look at it like that, either of them can decide a game. They are both very decisive.”
Suarez has seven goals in nine La Liga games this season, whilst Aguero’s brace for Man City on Saturday against West Brom leaves him with seven goals in eight Premier League appearances this term.
