Barcelona will have both of their fullbacks back for the Champions League clash against Manchester City next Wednesday, the Catalan press reports.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the club are now aware that both Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto will make their recovery from injury in time for the game.
Jordi Alba was out of action for ten days due to a muscle injury in his left leg, which left him out of Spain’s game against Albania.
After an adductor injury, Sergi Roberto is now also expected to be back in training in the next few days.
Both players are set to miss tomorrow’s La Liga game against Deportivo La Coruña at the Camp Nou, but will be fit for Wednesday if things go as expected.
Barcelona are currently on top of the Champions League Group C with six points in two games, and Manchester City have four. After the Camp Nou match, the teams will play the fourth fixture at the Etihad Stadium on November 1st.
