Leo Messi accused of a halftime ‘bust-up’ during the Man City game

One of the biggest stories to come out of the Man City v Barcelona game this week in the Champions League has centred of the reports of a post match flare up in the tunnel.
It’s now been confirmed in the Spanish press that Man City coach Mikel Arteta got into a verbal exchange with Leo Messi in the tunnel at the Etihad.




Arteta reportedly told Messi to go into his locker room, while Messi call the former Arsenal misfielded an “idiot”.
The Mirror have managed to take the story further on Thursday, alleging that Messi also had a “bust-up” at halftime

So what happened?

According to the tabloid, Messi’s anger a the interval was with the match official:
Nou Camp superstar shocked witnesses as he slammed ref Viktor Kassai in the tunnel during the break over a refused penalty appeal before further drama at full-time. 
The five-times FIFA World Player of the Year launched an angry half-time tirade at Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai, who failed to award him a first half penalty.
The red-top add that they’ve questioned UEFA and Barcelona about the halftime Messi report, but “Neither were available for comment.”
